Buffalo Chicken Football Pies
These Football.Pies are filled with delicious buffalo chicken and are perfect as a game day appetizer or Super Bowl snack.

- 1 lb chicken breast
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ½ cup Franks red hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 can jumbo buttermilk biscuits
Prepare Chicken Filling
Take chicken and pour oil over the top and then add spices.
Rub oil and spices into chicken and lay in a small baking dish.
In a small bowl mix together hot sauce, brown sugar, and melted butter.
Pour sauce over the top of the chicken.
Bake chicken for 30-40 minutes until cooked through.
Fork shred the chicken breast and mix with the sauce in the bottom of the baking dish.
Prepare Football Meat Pies
Take each jumbo biscuit and spread the size of a small plate.
Place 1 ½ tablespoons shredded chicken mixture in the middle of the biscuit and fold over.
Use a fork to crimp the edges of the biscuit.
Place biscuits in the air fryer basket and fry at 330° for 5 minutes on each side.
Place sour cream in a piping bag or sandwich baggie and cut a tiny hole in the corner.
Pipe the sour cream in football lines on the biscuits.
- Shredded Chicken - use rotisserie chicken in place of making your own. Just mix the shredded chicken with the same ingredients as noted in the recipe card and fill.
- This recipe can be scaled up to make more footballs.
- Don't overcook the chicken. Overcooked chicken will be dry and tough. Cook the chicken until it is just cooked through.
