- 1 pound hot breakfast sausage cooked
- 12 oz can diced tomatoes with green chilies drained
- ½ cup banana peppers
- ½ cup red bell peppers
- 2 cups mozzarella shredded
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan
- 1 8 oz, block cream cheese softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat the oven to 375°. In a large mixing bowl combine the cream cheese and seasonings, stir until combined.
Add the sausage, diced tomatoes, banana peppers, red bell peppers, mozzarella cheese (save ½ cup and set aside) and Parmesan, mix until combined and add to a greased 8x8 baking dish.
Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and bake for 15 minutes, after the times up set oven to broil and let broil for 2-3 minutes until bubbly and brown.
Serve with toasted baguette or tortilla chips!
