Pepperoni Pinwheels

Delicious and full of flavor, these pepperoni pizza pinwheels are perfect for any party and the talk of the town

Equipment

  • cutting board
  • Serrated knife
  • plastic wrap or wax peper

Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup pizza sauce
  • 2 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 8 ounces shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 4 ounces of pepperoni

Instructions

  • Add the cream cheese, pizza sauce, and italian seasoning to a bowl, and mix until combined.
  • Add ¼ of the mixture to each tortilla, and spread it over the entire surface of the tortilla.
  • Arrange pepperoni in a single layer on the tortilla.
  • Sprinkle 2 oz of the cheese over the pepperoni.
  • Roll the tortilla up.
  • Wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Remove from the refrigerator, and remove the saran wrap. Cut into 1 inch slices with a sharp knife.
  • Arrange flat on a platter to serve.

Notes

  • Spread the ingredients thinly and evenly to keep from putting too much on the tortilla. Do not add too much of any one topping.
  • Roll the tortilla slowly to keep it from breaking.
  • Be sure to use a sharp serrated knife to cut the pinwheels.
  • This appetizer should be kept and served cold.
