Equipment

  • Skillet

Ingredients

  • ½ package pork chorizo sausage
  • 1 8 oz. package cream cheese I used whipped
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 4 oz can diced green chilis

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Remove the casing from the chorizo and brown it in a small pan. Brown for about 5–6 minutes until the chorizo is cooked.
  • Drain the cooked chorizo on paper towels.
  • Meanwhile, mix together the remaining ingredients in a bowl and add the drained chorizo.
  • Once the dip is mixed, pour it into an oven-safe dish.
  • Cook for 14–16 minutes.
  • Serve warm with tortilla chips or crackers.

Notes

  • Use a wooden spoon for easy mixing and to ensure all ingredients are well combined.
  • Opt for a medium-sized skillet to brown the chorizo evenly.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, or oaxaca cheese for a unique twist.
