Candied Nuts
These Candied nuts are a delicious and easy recipe for the holidays that will become a family tradition and are perfect as a holiday snack.

- 6 cups mixed nuts
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tbsp. Ground cinnamon
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together egg whites, vanilla, sugar, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
Add mixed nuts into a large mixing bowl, and pour the sugar mixture over top. Toss the nuts in the mixture to evenly coat.
Spray the crock pot, and pour the nuts in.
Cook on low 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
Add a piece of parchment paper to a large baking sheet.
Spread the nuts over the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
Allow the nuts to cool and set.
Store in an airtight container for up to one week.

- Stir occasionally. Stir the nuts in the slow cooker occasionally to ensure an even sugary coating.
- Cool completely. Let the nuts cool completely before storing to achieve the perfect crunch.
