Bisquick Apple Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 3 Apples. Peeled and sliced I like Granny Smith apples or Honey crisp
  • ½ cup Brown sugar.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 ½ cups Bisquick mix.
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°
  • Peel and chop apples into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a medium saucepan, add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of butter.
  • Cook 3-4 minutes until apples become tender. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl make the topping: mix 3 T butter, Bisquick, milk and sugar until crumbly.
  • Pour cooked apples in an 8 x 8 baking dish.
  • Top with topping mixture.
  • Bake 50-55 minutes

Notes

  • Make sure to let the apple cobbler cool slightly before serving - it will be easier to handle and scoop out!
  • Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or your favorite ice cream for the perfect apple cobbler.
