- 3 Apples. Peeled and sliced I like Granny Smith apples or Honey crisp
- ½ cup Brown sugar.
- 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon Ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 ½ cups Bisquick mix.
- ½ cup Milk
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
Preheat oven to 375°
Peel and chop apples into bite-sized pieces.
In a medium saucepan, add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of butter.
Cook 3-4 minutes until apples become tender. Set aside.
In a separate bowl make the topping: mix 3 T butter, Bisquick, milk and sugar until crumbly.
Pour cooked apples in an 8 x 8 baking dish.
Top with topping mixture.
Bake 50-55 minutes
