Ingredients

For The Mix

  • cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the cocktail

  • cup hot water or coffee
  • 2 tablespoons batter
  • 2 ounces dark rum
  • Whipped topping for topping
  • Cinnamon for topping

Instructions

  • Place brown sugar and butter in a microwavable pyrex. Microwave for 1 minute. Whisk in spices and vanilla.
  • To make the cocktail add two tablespoons of the batter with ⅔ cup hot water. Stir and add in rum. Stir.
  • Top with whipped topping and cinnamon.
