Crockpot Sesame Chicken

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless & skinless chicken thighs cubed

Sauce Recipe

  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1-2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced

Instructions

  • Place chicken in the base of the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl stir honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic and vegetable oil together. Pour over the chicken.
  • Cook on low for 3.5 hours.
  • Remove chicken from the slow cooker
  • Combine the water and cornstarch to create a slurry
  • Whisk the slurry into the sauce
  • Turn the slow cooker to high and let the sauce thicken 10-15 mins, Return the chicken to the chicken to the sauce.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
  • Serve with rice, noodles, or stir-fried veggies.
