Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon cloves
  • ½ teaspoon allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pumpkin
  • cups water

Pumpkin Bread Topping

  • cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cold butter
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  • Grease and flour a loaf pan. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat eggs sugar, and oil.
  • In a second bowl, add dry ingredients (flour, soda, powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, and salt).
  • Add dry ingredient mixture to egg mixture gradually and blend well.
  • Add pumpkin and water.
  • Pour pumpkin bread batter into a prepared baking loaf pan.
  • Prepare and add streusel mixture.
  • Bake at 350° F for 60 - 70 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool before slicing.
