Simple Hummus
This easy homemade hummus recipe can be made in minutes and is so delicious!

- 2 cloves garlic chopped, I use the jar variety
- 1 15 oz can garbanzo beans
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Tahini
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
Drain the chickpeas. Pour into a blender or the bowl of a food processor.
Add the rest of the ingredients Mix all of the above until desired consistency. The consistency should be creamy and blended. If it is too thick, you can add a tablespoon of water.
I like to add a little Tapatio hot sauce to spice up the plain hummus from time to time, but it tastes good without it too. I like to serve it with pita chips, tortilla chips, sliced carrots, peppers, or celery.
Refrigerate and serve.
