- 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup water
- ⅓ cup Irish Cream Liqueur
- ¼ cup butter, softened
Baileys Frosting
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- ½ cup room temperature butter
- ¼ cup Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur
- ¼ cup Heavy cream or milk
Cupcakes
Heat oven to 350 degrees f.
Line cupcake pan with paper liners.
In a large bowl, combine cake mix with eggs, oil and water per package directions. Add Irish cream and mix with a hand mixer or stand mixer on low speed until blended.
Pour chocolate cupcake batter into cupcake pan and bake cupcakes 18-22 minutes until a toothpick inserted in cupcake comes out clean.
Let cool before frosting.
Irish Cream Buttercream Frosting
In a large bowl or bowl of a stand mixer, Mix softened butter, Irish Cream Liqueur, milk and 1 cup sugar.
Gradually add remaining sugar and blend well after each cup,
A stand or hand mixer is recommended for making this frosting.
Frost cooled cupcakes with a knife or using a decorating tip.
