Thaw puff pastry as directed.
Preheat oven to 400°
When thawed, roll out puff pastry.
Cut into shapes or circles.
Place half of these on to a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. Set half of these aside for the tops.
In a saucepan, mix towther apples, cinnamon, and sugar.
Heat over medium about 3-4 minutes until a glaze forms from the sugar.
Remove from heat and place 1 tablespoon onto each pastry on the cookie sheet.
Cover with the second cutout for each one.
Seal using a fork all around the cutout and make two small holes, using the tip of a knife.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
If desired, you can sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
