Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup <g class="gr_ gr_1221 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep" id="1221" data-gr-id="1221">butter </g> softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 bananas ripe and peeled.
  • ½ cup pieces chopped chocolate bar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Mix together butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla until blended
  • Mash banana in a separate bowl, then add to sugar mixture.
  • Mix dry ingredients (except chocolate)  in a second bowl and once blended, add to mixture.
  • Gently fold in chocolate pieces
  • Drop by tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 14-16 minutes until lightly brown.
