- 1 box spice cake mix
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
Cream Cheese Frosting
- ¼ cup butter, softened room temperature
- 1 8 oz. block cream cheese
- 2 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ cup chopped pecans (optional, for topping
Heat oven to 350 degrees f.
Grease and flour 13" x 9" baking pan.
MIx ingredients together in a bowl for 2-3 minutes.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 30 - 35 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.

Cream Cheese Frosting for Pumpkin Spice Cake
Blend cream cheese, butter, vanilla and cinnamon in a bowl until light and fluffy.
Top each square with a dollop. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
