Easy Lemon Breakfast Pastries

These Easy Lemon Breakfast Pastries will bring a little sunshine to your table. Made with premade crescent dough, they are ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent dough sheet
  • 3 oz package of cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice dough at ½" intervals and place dough circles on parchment paper.
  • With a spoon or your thumb, make an indentation in the middle of each circle.
  • In a small bowl mix together cream cheese, lemon juice and sugar.
  • Fill each dough center with 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture.
  • Bake for 14-16 minutes until golden brown.
  • Ice when slightly cool.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
Make sure you don't overfill the pastries and use a fork to crimp the edges tightly.
