Corndog Bites

Corndog bites are a really tasty snack or appetizer. They have the same great flavor as regular corndogs, but in a small, bite-sized shape.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix 8.5 ox box
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon Melted butter
  • cup milk
  • 6 hot dog wieners cut into 1 inch pieces

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit.
  • Spray a miniature muffin tin with non-stick spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together cornbread mix, large egg, melted butter, and milk, until just combined. Careful not to over-mix.
  • Divide the cornbread mixture between the mini muffin cups, filling about ½ to ⅔ full.
  • Press a hot dog piece into the center of each muffin cup.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the muffins are golden brown.
