Soy Garlic Chicken Wings
Soy Garlic Chicken Wings are a wonderful easy dinner idea. These wings are tangy, sweet and delicious.

- lb bag wings wingettes and drumettes
- ½ cup light soy sauce
- ½ cup dark soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons garlic
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 2 stalks green onions; diced
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- Oil for frying
Pour oil into outdoor fryer. Bring oil to 350 degrees F.
Make sure wings are fully defrosted.
Rinse wings and pat with paper towels until completely dry.
Carefully place wings into the basket and lower into the cooker. Cook until golden or desired crispiness.
Remove from pot and drain excess oil.
In a saucepan on the stove over mediumm-low heat, mix together honey garlic sauce ingredients: soy sauces, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, pepper and cornstarch.
Heat the sauce on low-medium heat until it comes to a boil and thickens. Turn off heat.
Place wings in a bowl and add the sauce. Toss well.
Add in diced green onion and toss well. Serve.
- Use an oil with a high cooking point. Peanut oil is a great choice for frying chicken
- Once the oil reaches the required temperature, add the chicken wings to it carefully using tongs.
- Wings are done when they reach and internal temperature of 165°f.
- The garlic marinade is great for marinading chicken breasts too.
