Chocolate Crinkles

These Chocolate Crinkle Cookies are the perfect Christmas cookie. A cakelike chocolate cookie rolled in powdered sugar for a delicious dessert!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 4 oz unsweetened chocolate 4 squares
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking pownder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Melt chocolate squares in the microwave and let the melted chocolate cool a few minutes.
  • In a large bowl, mix together oil, chocolate and sugar.
  • 2 Add eggs one at a time and mix after each.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Add flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Mix well and cover and chill 2 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°.
  • Roll dough into 1" balls and roll in powdered sugar.
  • Place on a baking sheet about 1 ½ " apart as they will spread.
  • Bake 10-12 minutes.
  • Let cool before serving.
