Fresh mushrooms sauteed in a basil butter sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 ½ teaspoon basil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Over medium-low heat, melt butter in a saucepan.
  • Add sliced mushrooms to pan.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring often to cook both sides of mushrooms.
  • Add garlic, salt, pepper, basil, and oregano.
  • Heat about 4-6 minutes until mushrooms are browned.
  • Remove from heat and serve.
  • It is a super tasty dish and makes 6 half-cup servings.
