Easy Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 6 apples
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat over to 375 °.

  2. Butter 13" by 9" baking dish.

  3. Wash and peel apples.

  4. Slice apples in about 1/4" slices.

  5. Layer the apples on the buttered baking sheet.

  6. Sprinkle the apples with water.

  7. Combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl.

  8. Add butter and blend with a pastry cutter. Dough will be crumbly.

  9. Sprinkle dough on apples.

  10. Bake for 50 minutes until the dough is golden brown and juices are bubbling.
