- 2 cartons chicken broth
- 1 ½ cups skinless and chopped cooked chicken
- ¼ cup onion chopped
- 2 celery stalks chopped
- 2 carrots peeled and chopped
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ⅓ cup long grain rice
In a pot over medium heat, place all ingredients in pot.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20--25 minutes until rice is tender.
