- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar packed
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup cooking oats the quick cooking kind
- 1 cup flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅔ cup raisins
In a large bowl, cream butter, sugars eggs, and vanilla until well blended.
In another bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon.
Slowly add dry ingredients to butter mixture.
Fold in raisins and oats.
Drop by rounded teaspoons about 2" apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake 12 - 13 minutes in 350 degree oven until light brown.
