Caprese Salad

This easy Caprese salad combines fresh basil leaves, mozzarella and tomatoes with a drizzle of balsamic for a simple, flavorful salad.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe tomatoes sliced about ¼"
  • 6 oz. Mozzarella cheese sliced
  • 24 basil leaves washed
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  • On plate layer basil leaves, and alternating tomato and mozzarella slices.
  • Drizzle with olive oil
  • Season with oregano, salt and pepper and serve.
