This post is a review for the Venta Airwasher. All opinions are my own.

How to keep house less dusty with the Venta Airwasher. #ad

This time of year, I love opening the windows and letting the cool breeze come into the house. While I love letting the outside air in, I have noticed that lovely breezes bring in quite a bit of dust along with the cooler air. That being said, when I was asked to  participate in a review for the Venta Airwasher, I enthusiastically said yes. Between the breeze, dust and hair from my dog, I have noticed more dust particles around the house and needed a good air purifier for our home.

I had not heard of Venta before and did some research. I learned that the air cleaning system is quite unique and comes in several sizes, depending on the size of the area you want to protect. When I received it, I was happy  to see that it was easy to set up. I had it up-and-running in just a few minutes.

We have it placed in one of the bedrooms near the hallway. It has a sleek design and I like the fact that it can be left on the floor and did not have to be elevated.

The Venta Airwasher is easy to use and does not have filters to change.

After a week of using the Airwasher, I noticed that I have less dust to wipe away on surfaces. To me, that results in cleaner air and less time spent cleaning. Hurray! The air also feels noticeably cleaner and fresher.

The Venta Airwasher is very simple to use. The intake fan grabs the particles in the air and kept in the system.

Additionally, the machine acts as a slow humidifier which helps to keep the air comfortable, no matter what season it is. There are no filters and no hard scales to scrape off, making it  very easy to clean, all you do is add water every few days and there are no filters to change.

Venta offers an additive to the water to eliminate mineral build-up and a cleaner for end of season storage, for an additional cost. They also sell some essential oils that can be added to the unit.

The Venta requires fewer refills than most humidifiers and fewer cleanings too. Most humidifiers require cleaning every third day, but the Venta requires a cleaning only every two weeks. In order to cut down on the cleanings, it relies on a proprietary chemical mixture. It comes with a two-week supply of the cleaning solution. For $22.99, you can purchase a 35 ounce replacement bottle that last for about four months.

A little About Venta

The Venta Airwasher was created in Germany in 1981, in attempts to solving residents problems associated with dry and dirty indoors. Their quest to solve the problem resulted in the invention of the Venta Airwasher, the most powerful 2 in 1 humidifier & purifier, with no filters. Venta stands by the quality of our products: Superior German design is backed by a 10 year warranty on all of their Airwashers. That is a good warranty!

As I mentioned, the Venta Airwasher is available in three energy-efficient sizes:

Airwasher LW15 – humidifies up to 200 sq ft; purifies up to 105 sq ft – 2 speeds; weight 7 lbs; holds 1.4 gallons; sound level 22-32 dBA
Airwasher LW25 – humifies up to 400 sq ft; purifies up to 210 sq ft – 3 speeds; weight 8.5 lbs; holds 2 gallons; sound level 25-37-42 dBA
Airwasher LW45 – humidifies up to 800 sq ft; purifies up to 420 sq ft – 3 speeds; weight 13 lbs; holds 3 gallons; sound level 25-37-42 dBA

The Venta Airwasher is easy to use and does not have filters to change.

If you are looking for a 2 in 1 air cleaner and humidification system that does not require a lot of maintenance, I would recommend the Venta Airwasher.

I love my Venta! It's made such a difference in our allergies and saved me from dry skin during the winter. If I could afford it, I'd have one in every room!

Ah, I'm interested! We're getting our house renovated later this summer and I just know with all the construction, pets, pollens, etc. we're going to need something. I really want one for winter. I get really dry skin and sinuses.
