Looking for some fun ways to celebrate Valentine's Day? While it is always fun to go out, many times restaurants and cafes can be very crowded that day. I have found that it is much more fun (and inexpensive) to celebrate at someone's home. When the kids were little, we would enjoy a simple celebration with pink-colored food at home. Where ever you are, it is always nice to make it a festive day.
Whether you are hosting a Valentine's Day Cocktail party or a Galentine's Day gathering (as created by Amy Poehler's Parks and Rec character), or celebrating Valentine's Day at home, these fun drinks will surely make things festive.
If you have little ones at home, it can be fun to host a Valentine's evening dinner with several families. Order pizza for the kids and then have the adults bring a potluck item. A lot of restaurants take advantage of the day and prepare a special menu which is usually more expensive. Don't get me wrong, it is great to go out for a dinner at a restaurant, but I do find that it is more rushed that evening because it is a popular thing to do.
Another idea is to host a little cocktail party for your friends and watch a themed movie. In that spirit, today we are presenting 15 tasty Valentine's cocktail recipes for you.

I am thinking that the Valentine's Moscow Mule and the Cherry Mojitos are in order. I love fruity cocktails that are refreshing, but not too sweet. Will you celebrate Valentine's Day this year? How are you celebrating?

They are SO pretty and festive. Of all the holidays, this one has my vote for best cocktails. (don't tell Christmas!)
