Have you noticed that some of the cutest party decorations are hand made? I have been to several parties and celebrations recently and honestly, the decorations have been so impressive and adorable, it makes the party so much more memorable.
I recently had a chance to review a fun party planning book, the Ultimate Disney Party Book by Jessica Ward and Cynthia Littlefield.

Disney Party Ideas

They have so many cute and easy (yes easy) ideas, not just for parties, but for celebrating life's moments too.

Some of the cute ideas in the book include:

Planes Candy Favors – you use a stick of gum for the wings, a roll of Smarties for the body, two Lifesavers for the wheels, along with craft paper and rubber bands and it makes an adorable plane – up, up, and away!

Mike Wazowski Spoon Puppets – He is that loveable character from  Monsters, Inc. and with a few wooden spoons, green paint, and some construction paper, you can make some cute puppets!

And the Toy Story ideas are so cute! That is one of my favorite Disney movies.

Of course there are also some cute Mickey Mouse Candy Cups – with black & red paper, two white buttons, some candy in a plastic bag tied with red ribbon, and you have a sweet gift.

The book has lots of beautiful photographs and step by sep instructions on how to make inviations, decorations, party favors and fun food for different Disney themes.
The steps are easily broken out and the projects are all easy to medium in difficulty.

These ideas are not only great for birthday parties, but these are great for summer gatherings, craft party sessions or even movie viewing parties. Many of these make cute ideas for Valentine's day too!
If you have not seen this book in stores, it is also available on Amazon (affiliate link).

Sounds like fun right? Well I am happy to announce that one lucky Organized Island reader can win a copy of this book. Yay! Enter below. Giveaway open to US residents 18 and older.
Before you go, please tell me what Disney party theme would you want to see?

I think the first Disney movie I saw was Bambi. Sheesh, mom and dad. That probably scarred me! For Scarlet, it was Snow White.
And you KNOW I'd love this book.

I love so many Disney characters, but one of my all time favorites would be Aladdin from the film!

My favorite character is Aurora! I love a girl who can wake up from a nap with perfect hair and makeup! 😉
