The SoCal Social from A to Z

October 24, 2012 by Raquel 18 Comments

Sharing is caring!

Recently I attended the So Cal Social Blogging event.  This is what I have to say about it, from A to Z.

A - Antique shopping does not get any better than Old Town Orange.

B - The Bruery was a fun stop on our tour.  They offer beer tastings and a great assortment of meat and cheese plates.

C - Complexions Day Spa was another great sponsor and an fun option for the second day of the event.

D - Down Home Antiques has an amazing collection of housewares, books, furniture, equipment and more.

E - Eikon Home is another fabulous shop with awesome unique gift ideas.  I could spend hours there!

F - Fantastic - if I had to describe the event in one word, although FUN is a close second.

Affaire de Coeur

G - Gallery on Glassell was one of my favorite stops.  They sell books, entertaining accessories and art and more.

H - History is evident in the Circle Plaza.  The area is on the National Registry of Historic Places.

I - Instagram is where you will find more photos on the #SoCalSocial from attendees.

J - Julip is an adorable florist and gift shop that fits a lot in a small space.

K - Krylon makes some awesome paint for projects and I cannot wait to use my gifts. A great sponsor of the event.

L - Lion Brand Yarn, another sponsor, gave us some great packages for crafting.

M - Mark Montano was the special guest star and gave us all advance copies of his new book: Big Ass Book of Bling

N - Next time I hope to stay for the fabulous dinner at Avila's El Ranchito Restaurant.

O - Old Town Orange is a wonderful place to visit, shop and dine.

P - Paris in a cup is the closest thing to Paris around.  They have an amazing tea room in the back of the store.

Paris in a Cup

Q - Quaint is how I would describe the lovely area of Orange where our social took place.

R - Retro chic clothing is all over the place in this shopping area.

S - Swag as in, have you ever been on a swag walk? It is like trick or treating for grownups!

T - Tea Leaf Cottage is like Pinterest vintage items in real life.  You want to pin everything in that store.

U - Unbelievable was how I would describe the amount of swag that was part of the event.

Joyride and Elsewhere Vintage

V - Vivienne and Beverly did an awesome job of setting up the SoCal Social - Thank you!

W - Wallpaper for Windows was one of our sponsors and gave us some great products.

X - Xyron was another awesome sponsor for this event and included products in our Swag bag.

Y - You should be here next year if you are a blogger and are in the area.

Z - ZZZ is the sound I made happily sleeping after that fun-filled day! I want to thank my friends Ann, Jamie and Melanie for the great time we had spending the day together!

Hope to see you there next year~

Hi, I'm Raquel! I am a self-proclaimed foodie and have enjoyed cooking and baking since I was little. I loved baking cookies with my mother and grandma as a child, and later making dinners for my parents to foster my passion while in high school. I also had a passion for organizing and keeping things tidy.
