Ten Reasons I Love My Keurig

Sharing is caring!

You may remember a few months ago when I attended the BlogHer conference? While I was there I was invited to a breakfast sponsored by Keurig. We were able to see what the features of the new Keurig were before most of the information was shared with the public.  I was very impressed by the new Keurig 2.0.

Disclosure - in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255:  Several weeks later I received a Keurig 2.0 free of charge. All opinions are always my own and you can read my disclosure policy here.

I am so excited about my first Keurig that I just have to share with you! My former coffee maker was a drip and carafe style coffee maker, and to tell you the truth, I kept it nearby in case I decided I liked it better than the Keurig. But that did not happen so today I want to share with you my 10 reasons why I love my Keurig 2.0:

Ten Reasons I Love My Keurig 2.0

1. It saves me time. It literally takes seconds to have a hot cup of coffee in my hands. Honestly, this is my favorite part as it takes less than a minute to brew a cup.
2. I do not have to clean the pot and refill it with water and dump the grounds and clean the filter every night. With my Keurig, I just dispose the tiny cartridge (which can be recycled by the way) and I only have to refill the water tank every few days. Again, saving me time. There is a water filter to change every couple of months, but it takes only seconds to do.

3. I can change at my coffee flavors from day today even hour to hour, without opening up a bunch of different bags of ground coffee. You can easily switch from coffee to tea to hot chocolate so easily. I keep my K-cup stash in a nearby drawer.

4. No more spelling ground coffee all over the place. Yes, I used to do this quite bit and what a mess it would make.

5. The water reservoir has a cool light that you can change to different colors. I love it as it functions as a nightlight during those dark, early mornings. You can also change color of the display on the touch screen.

6. I'm not wasting several cups of unused brewed coffee a day. I just brew what I need. I can also select the strength of my brew with one simple tap of the display.

7. Every cup of  coffee tastes great, and it's actually nice and hot and freshly brewed. The temperature is better than my old coffee brewer and it is like taking that first sip over and over again.

8. The Keurig 2. 0 will let you brew one cup at a time or a carafe at a time with the same machine. All you need are the larger cartridges that fit in the same unit. You can brew 4 cups in the carafe.
9. It fits nicely under my cabinet and I do not have to worry about the steam ruining my cabinets like my old brewer.

10. There is a removable drip tray that allows you to fill up your coffee mug easily. So when you are on the go, just place your travel mug and press the button. Excuse me a moment while I make my cup...

Ahh! Time to enjoy! As a first time Keurig owner, I have to tell you I LOVE my Keurig and will be donating my old coffee maker. I also believe that the Keurig makes a great gift idea for the holdiays. Check out their selection and information at Keurig.com. I have seen some great deals on these at Kohls and Costco.
I happened to notice on social media that, right now, you can enter to win a #HelloKeurig coffee date with Donnie Wahlberg. Complete rules and information to enter are at HelloKeurig.com
Have you ever tried a Keurig at work or home? What was your experience?

I don't have one, but I spent a week at my aunt's house and she does and I loved all of your ten reasons and more. It was during a busy week of theme park visiting and let's just say we all needed it, and we all had different wants and needs.
    Fresh and flavorful!

Yes, that is one of the best features - you can switch up flavors and blends so easily!

Two Christmas' ago we received a Keurig... and it was fun to use even for me, the non coffee drinker.... David is a complete ice coffee snob so he wasn't a fan as much as I tried to make him one 😉 lol

Hi, I'm Raquel! I am a self-proclaimed foodie and have enjoyed cooking and baking since I was little.
