Talk about a winter wonderland! I recently was invited to attend the fabulous chocolate and wine festival that is Indulge LA. The chocolate and pastry festival is held in Los Angeles each year and is a wonderful way for chocolate and wine lovers to spend the day.
I am sharing some of the tasty highlights from my first visit to this wonderful festival.
Indulge LA Festival Highlights
The festival was in the lovely Olympic Collection Conference Center and once I got in, the first order of business was picking up my Indulge wine glass.
Then it was time to start the tastings! I started with a Diabolo Sparkling Soda amidst the beautiful and elegant festival setting. I figured I would move on to the wine a little later. There was a feeling of celebration in the air and tunes were provided by a DJ to set the mood for a festive and fun day!
Next, it was time to start the chocolate tastings. Here are just a few of the marvelous offerings at the festival.
These treats from the SLS Hotel group were amazing with a praline center. Almost too beautiful to eat….almost.
And then there were the beverages. So many wonderful beverages, like these Moreno BHLV Sparkling Wines and Champagnes.
There were also some tasty creations from Bar41™ Cocktails
As well as Flaming Moscow Mules from Tatratea.
There was even a tequila tasting with Teqava Sparkling Tequilas.
For the record, the strawberry tequila was my favorite! Back to the chocolate treats…
These wonderful chocolate mash up bites are from Marco Paolo Chocolates, purveyor of hand-crafted and natural truffles.
These little rum balls were not only scrumptious, but there were beautifully made my none other than Food Network Star, Chef Robert Teddy.
Then there were these tasty bites that reminded me I need to visit Las Vegas soon. Aren’t they adorable?
These Spiced Blueberry Cocoa Chicken and Waffles were so good that I went and got seconds. The tastings at Indulge LA are unlimited by the way, so no need to feel too guilty.
Of course no chocolate festival is complete without some chocolate fountains (of which there were a few).
Oh and did I mention that the Laker Girls were also there to mingle and take photos with fans?
There were also some wonderful hot chocolate and coffee offerings. All that included the wonderful flavor of chocolate.
And what is a hot beverage without some flavored marshmallows from Sugar and Spyked.
There was so much culinary inspiration there as well. I just loved these S’more spoons from Your Sweet Temptations.
To be fair, vanilla was represented at the festival as well.
These Choctal Vanilla Ice Creams were amazing!
Such a fun day!
