Super Simple Frozen Yoghurt

Sharing is caring!

The other day dawned on me that this year I've been missing some of my food holidays. I'm not sure what happened but somewhere along the line I forgot to add a few of these to my calendar. With that being said I want you to know that this Thursday is National Frozen Yogurt day! Yes, really!

I am a big fan of frozen yoghurt ever since the frozen yogurt shops started making their way into my life. But today I want to show you a quick way to make your own super simple frozen yoghurt.
You only need two ingredients to make it, plus whatever toppings you might like. I like mine with a little fruit and whatever else I might have around the house. You can add many things like fruit, granola, chocolate chips, candy, nuts and even cereal. It is not only delicious, but super cheap if you have it on hand.
You may remember from the other day I keep my refrigerator stocked with Mountain High Yoghurt so I already have my major ingredient.
All you need is little sugar and a freezer, you don't even need an ice cream maker. Simple - yes? If you make it now, it is ready in about two hours. No need to go out to get frozen yoghurt anymore!

Easy Frozen Yogurt - Make it Yourself

Spoon yoghurt into a shallow container. I mix the yoghurt and sugar in a two to one ratio. So, 1 cup of yoghurt is mixed with ½ cup sugar. I used the Lowfat Vanilla variety.

Freeze for about 2 hours. Make sure you do not over-freeze or it will be icy.

Hi, I'm Raquel! I am a self-proclaimed foodie and have enjoyed cooking and baking since I was little.
