Can you believe that it is already Labor Day? For the US, the holiday was originally begun to celebrate various labor unions’ strengths of and contributions to the country. It is also unofficially the end of the summer season and the onset of fall. This weekend, we are going car shopping with my daughter.
Supposedly it is a good time of the month to do this because the thought is, that dealerships want to get rid of their remaining inventory before the next month. We have figured out the major factors on our wish list: size, style, price range, options, but I feel that car shopping is never as easy as it should be. Even if you have researched and compared models and pricing, there always seems to be some other glitch.
While doing some car research I found that there is a price alert on the Edmonds website that predicts what direction a car price is expected to take. (The alert is here if you are interested). I have to say that I do not especially enjoy car shopping and the whole haggling of price routine that comes with it. This process always seems to add a couple of hours to the car shopping experience. Please wish me luck.
Of course I plan to get a bit of organizing into my weekend, so I also will be streamlining my email inbox. What are you doing this Labor Day? Oh, and if you have happened to have bought a car recently and love it, would you mind letting me know what you bought? I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend!
