It seems like lately there have been so many people in the world in powerful places, that are forgetting how they got their power and success. I have seen this trend in everything from a work perspective, the blogging world (read Martha) and even American politics (not going there on the blog). Why is it so hard to remember that it truly does take a team to achieve great things?
“Individually We Are One Drop, Togther We Are An Ocean”
That quote is from Japanese poet, Ryunosuke Satoro, and resonates how people can come together for common goal and make changes. A team is more powerful than a single soul.
Teamwork is important and it is a great lesson to teach our kids. Though we may not all have the same strengths, by coming together and supporting each other and offering our skills, we can be better. Better people, better society and better citizens. Good managers know this and will match skill sets to tasks to maintain a productive and effective business with stronger teams.
We all have teams, whether they families, friends, mentors, religious leaders, or coaches that help us become stronger, happier, and better in our lives.
Blogging has brought me many opportunities to learn about social media, html, and a long list of things I had not heard of before. I am a member of a few publishing groups where we share tips, articles and support with one another. We also share happiness, encouragement and support in personal events, business success and achievements. I am grateful to be a part of these teams and contribute and learn. I am also grateful for you reading my blog today.
Today, one group has come together to offer a giveaway to one of our readers. The prize? An Amazon gift card for one of our readers. We are calling it the #TeamWorkGroup giveaway.
I hope you will enter and leave me a comment and let me know who is on your team?
Good luck and thank you for visiting this island!
