Grean chili topped vegetable burger

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of BUBBA burger for IZEA Worldwide. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am sharing a simple recipe for Green Chili Vegetable Burgers. Today's recipe is semi-homemade because, on busy nights, I gladly welcome shortcuts that don't compromise on quality and taste.

Hello Friends!

Today I am sharing a fun and simple recipe made with BUBBA Foods burger.

If you are not familiar with BUBBA veggie burgers, they are are pre-formed from vegetables, seasoned with spices and frozen for convenience. I am all about saving time and love the convenience of having a meal on the table in minutes.

Veggie with White Beans

The best part about Original BUBBA Veggie burgers is that they can go from freezer to pan and are ready in just a few minutes. The burgers are made with ingredients you can see and offer a flavorful combination of vegetables.

Before you know it, you will have a tasty BUBBA veggie burger ready for serving.

The Veggie with White Beans Burger variety is made with brown rice, Garbanzo beans and White beans all in a kale, quinoa and sage blend. They are a new take on veggie burgers and are Gluten-Free and Cholesterol Free.

These are so good the way they are and I love to add a simple green chili seasoning for fun!

Green Chili Vegetable Burgers

1 package BUBBA Veggie with White Beans burgers

1 tablespoon oil

1 small can chopped green chiles

¼ teaspoon

¼ teaspoon black pepper

4 slices onion

4 slices tomatoes

4 lettuce leaves

4 hamburger buns

Heat oil in grill pan or skillet on the stove over medium heat.

Add frozen BUBBA burgers to grill.

Cook 4 minutes in pan.

While burgers are cooking, combine green onions, pepper and in a microwave safe bowl.

Heat green chili mixture in microwave for 20 seconds and stir.

Set aside.

Flip burgers and continue cooking 4 additional minutes.
Place one slice lettuce, tomato, and onion on bottom buns.

Place one cooked burger on each bun.

Top with green chili salsa and top bun.

Enjoy!

These new BUBBA veggie burgers come in three varieties besides their original BUBBA veggie burger:

Veggie with White Beans - Garbanzo and white beans, kale, brown rice and quinoa.

Latin Grill Veggie - A zesty and sweet veggie burger made with black beans, sweet potatoes, plantains, lime and cilantro.

Veggie with Beets - Made with brown rice, beets, garbanzo beans and sage.

All are made with whole vegetables and are delicious tasting and vegan-friendly. Follow BUBBA Burger on social at @BUBBAburger for great recipe and serving ideas.

Don’t forget to pin the recipe below for later. You are going to want to keep this recipe.

See that’s really awesome. Being a new take on veggie burgers. I think a lot of us have bad memories of the original ones. This blows that out of the water. Also, I love Chiles.
