General Mills Star Wars Collectible View Finders

November 18, 2015 by Raquel 64 Comments

Sharing is caring!

We are celebrating Star Wars with General Mills Cereal today! This post is presented in partnership with General Mills and as always, all opinions are my own. Perhaps you heard about the new Star Wars Movie, The Force Awakens? It is coming out soon. We are huge Star Wars fans and have seen all the movies so my entire family is excited for the movie next month.

Star Wars Collectibles

Over the years, we have  collected some of the toys that have been released with the different movies. We have a storybook from the first release, some of the action figures and my son has a pretty cool savings bank.
Star Wars Collectibles over the years.

Well I was out doing some shopping today and I saw the specially marked packages of some of our favorite General Mills Cereal today that are Star Wars editions. (By the way you can find a coupon for General Mills Cereals here.)

Star Wars Cereals have some great prizes in them! #Ad #StarWars

Remember the good old days when you would find prizes inside of cereal boxes? I used to love that! Well, General Mill has teamed up with Star Wars to bring some Star Wars fun back to the breakfast table!

In celebration of the Star Wars Episode VII that releases on December 18th, General Mills has brought back fun cereal prizes.

On specially marked boxes of General Mills Cereal this month, you can find a droid view finder inside the box. The participating cereals are:
• Reese’s Puffs™
• Mini Trix™
• Honey Nut Cheerios™
• Cinnamon Toast Crunch™

We love General Mills cereals, and I personally have eaten them since I was a kid (a very long time ago in a galaxy far away....). I like that each tastes great and is made with whole grain oats and is enriched with vitamins.

General Mills Star Wars Collectible View Finders

There are 6 view finders to collect and each one contains an exclusive scene from the upcoming Star Wars Episode 7 “The Force Awakens” movie. The available Star Wars Droid Viewers are:

  • Mouse Droid
  • B-U4D
  • R2-D2
  • C3P0
  • PZ-4CO
  • BB-8

See Exclusive Scenes from the New Star Wars movie with General Mills #ad #StarWars

Star Wars fans will be able to view exclusive scenes before the movie is released in December, and have the opportunity to collect all 6 view finders before the movie comes out! Pretty cool right? In case you are going to buy several, you may want this coupon.

I realize this time of year, many of us are making big grocery runs, so before you go, be sure to enter to win a $20 Visa gift card for one lucky Organized Island reader.

Giveaway is open to U.S. Residents 18 and over. Full terms and conditions are noted on the Rafflecopter widget. Enter for a chance to win here:

I love the "I love you. I Know" photo of course!
I remember getting Star Wars cereal when I was four. It was memorable and I swear I could remember how it tasted.
As for my favorite Star Wars movie, episode 6.

The "I love you. I know." pic cracked me up 🙂 It's hard to pick a favorite Star Wars movie, but I'm going to go with The Empire Strikes back.

I know that The Empire Strikes Back is considered the best (and from a purely cinematic point of view, I agree) but I have a stronger emotional attachment to A New Hope.

I may be the only non-Star Wars fan in existence. I even saw the first run beginning movies in the 70s, just no appeal. I do like Cinnamon Toast Crunch though!

My all-time favorite Star Wars movie was the original (first) movie released in the 70s. It was something known of us had been introduced to before. It's also the first time I ever saw lines to watch a movie in a theater. It was a great movie to start a great Star Wars franchise for many years to come.
