Fresh Strawberry Recipes

This time of year brings many wonderful flavors but the strawberry goodness that comes with summer is out of this world. While we can get strawberries nearly year round here in California, they just taste so much sweeter in the late spring and summer. We are lucky to have strawberries nearly year round here in Southern California, but they definitely taste better this time of year. I have loved fresh strawberries since I was a kid and never get tired of strawberry goodness. I am always looking for ways to create fresh strawberry recipes. They not only add sweetness and vitamins, they add a beautiful color and flavor to your table.

Today I am sharing some delectable recipes from some of my blogger friends, all made with fresh strawberries.

Some are strawberry dessert recipes and others are strawberry salad recipes, but all are drool-worthy and pretty simple to put together.

Strawberries are available most of the year here in California, but they are definitely sweeter during the spring and summer. We have several strawberry farms nearby and many offer free tours.
