How can it be April already you say? Isn't it crazy that the first quarter of the year is already over? The months just seem to pass by so quickly. Every year at this time, I like to check on the goals I set at the beginning of the year. Notice I said goals and not resolutions because goals are achievable, measurable milestones that I set for myself every year.
I shared my goal setting planner template in January, and I had a few of my actual goals on the sheet that I used in the example. I love setting goals because they are similar to planning a trip and I love to travel so, I look at it as a fun and sometimes, challenging journey.
Based on my first quarter goal check, I am on track to meet most of them as of today.
Back at the beginning of the year, some of my goals included:
- lose 5 pounds - check. I have until April 30th for this and I have already met this one.
- pay off credit card - check
- save $200 - check
- take a photography class - this did not happen yet, but I gave myself to the end of the year.
- go to gym 3x per week - not met but modified
