Hello Friends! Having just come back from our trip to Mexico, I was very excited to receive my Degustabox for the month. This is my first box and being a home cook and foodie, I was very excited to see what was included in this month’s package.
There was a variety of food, drinks, and snacks and since our cupboard was bare, we dove right into trying the products. Here are a few of my favorites.
The first thing I noticed was the Goya brand tortillas and beans. Goya is a brand that I was already familiar with and like so I was excited to try the new products. There were three Goya products in the box I received this month.
Goya Corn Tortillas – We ALWAYS have corn tortillas in our home, so this pack of 30 will be used quickly. We often make breakfast tacos and quesadillas for a snack or meal. The tortillas tasted fresh and good. I also had not seen these in the store before, so I appreciated the chance to try them.
Goya Perfect Seasoning – Another new product I had not seen before. This seasoning mix is perfect for sauces, vegetables and soups. I make soup often and plan to try this in my next recipe.
Goya Black Beans – I use black beans all the time in my salad and chili recipes. I actually have tried this product before and the taste does not disappoint. They are a great product.
Walkers Shortbread – Oh my goodness, if you have not tried these and love shortbread, I recommend checking these out. Lots of flavor and a nice firm cookie. Perfect with tea or coffee.
True Lemon – This flavor packet is meant to be added as you would a lemon. It has zero calories and zero sugar. Perfect to add to water for some flavor. I will buy these again.
Lundberg Family Farms Cinnamon Sugar Red Rice and Quinoa Tortilla Chips
To be honest, these did not sound good to me at all, but I actually liked them. They are a nice change-up from standard tortilla chips and offer a new flavor. These are gluten-free too!
How it Works:
The thing I like about a subscription box service is that I have an opportunity to try new food and drink products that are available, without spending all the time looking for new products. Every month, Degustabox sends a sampling of 9-14 full-sized food and drink items,to your doorstep.
The Cost:
The average retail price for what I received was higher than the $19.99 monthly rate. See below on how to get a discount off your first month.
The Products:
I liked the products I sampled and would buy them again. Most of the products were new to me.
Benefits:
- An opportunity to try new food and drink products that are available at the grocer.
- Delivered to my doorstep.
- A surprise each month since it is not known what will be included.
How You Can Try it:
Check out the Degustabox website to for more information. Also, use the Organized Island coupon code CJOFFER07 to get your first box for only $12.99 (instead of $19.99) & receive free delivery!
Do you know someone who might love this subscription?
Is there anything on earth better than a box of edible goodies? I think not. these would mostly all be new to me, except for the black beans, so I’d enjoy it!
I don’t think there is anything better LOL!
