How are you all doing today?   I want to wish you all a very Happy Valentine's Day ! I made you all some muffins and I have tea and coffee too. Does that sound like fun?

Simple muffins, fruit muffins

I hope you all enjoy the day with whomever you are celebrating. These muffins are more like a dessert, because they are sweet.  You could even frost them and they would be a cupcake.

Cherry Chocolate Chip Muffins

2 cups baking mix

¾ cup sugar

⅔ cup milk

1 egg

½ cup milk chocolate chips

⅔ cup cherries, sliced (I used canned)

cherries, cherry recipe

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Line muffin tin with paper cups or grease tin.  Mix ingredients in a bowl.  Once combined, pour into lined muffin tin. Bake 14-16 minutes.

Easy muffins, muffin recipe

I make a version of this but I use a banana nut muffin base and add
maraschino cherries and the chocolate chips. I call them my Banana Split Muffins
and they have been a family favorite for about 10 years.
