This is a sponsored post in conjunction with One2One Network and André Rieu Shall We Dance. All opinions are my own.
This last week was very stressful, so this weekend I have been wanting to really relax and enjoy the moment. I visited my mother for our weekly crafting time and this weekend, I had the awesome pleasure of listening to André Rieu’s recently released album, Shall We Dance, with my mom. If you have not heard of André Rieu, you likely have, but just do not realize it.
The Dutch-born violinist and orchestra leader, known as “The King of the Waltz,” is one of the best-selling classical musicians of all time. André currently has a 10-part series on Ovation TV and he had a memorable and exquisite violin performance on the season opener of Dancing with the Stars last year. He has sold over 40 million CDs and DVDs and Wall Street Journal calls him, the Maestro for the Masses.
André Rieu “Shall We Dance” Blog Album Review
I have to tell you my personal thoughts on the André Rieu Shall We Dance album. If you want an album to truly take you away to a harmonious, peaceful, and marvelous experience, this album will do it. Mom and I loved listening to the tracks as we crafted and created together.
I personally loved the track, Time to Say Goodbye. It is one a melodic piece that sounds like a classic movie soundtrack. The orchestra comes together in a fierce and splendid harmony to move you to a glorious and captivating place.
My other favorite was Medley Strauss & Co. This lovely medley takes me right back to Vienna, Austria, and its beautiful and beloved Danube!
I also loved Sirtaki (Zorba's Dance), which reminded me of some of the songs I heard growing up.
My mother's favorite was the beautiful Edelweiss, from the movie the Sound of Music. You will hear the lyrics in your head and can sing along with the orchestra in the privacy of your own home (or car).
The Shall We Dance album includes a CD and DVD from Decca Gold. Andre Rieu's DVD content is recorded from his concert in Schonbrunn, Vienna.

Target has an exclusive version with two bonus tracks - “Music of the Night” (from Phantom of the Opera) and “Lara’s Theme” (from Dr. Zhivago). I know you have heard both of these songs many times before.
His music will move you and you will not believe how many people he has touched through his music. He is clearly a classically trained musician who obviously loves what he does. Take a moment to watch this video to see what I mean.

We went when he was in Anaheim several years ago. We had box seats. It was a wonderful experience. Thanks for prompting a delightful memory.
