A Christmas Tree for the Beer Lover

We are a little behind on the tree shopping this year but I just had to share this Beer-Themed Christmas Tree with you. While I have started decorating inside the house, we have yet to pick up a Christmas tree. I have seen a lot of themed Christmas trees lately and find it kind of refreshing. This Beer -Themed Christmas tree will make any beer lover happy,

I have thought about a travel-themed tree, but I do not have enough ornaments. A cooking and baking themed tree could be fun (think cookie cutters), or maybe a silver and gold tree?

We will most likely get one next weekend, so I have a few days to decide. My friend Katie had a great idea for their tree that is in the man-cave garage.

It is a beer-themed Christmas Tree!

For the ornaments, she made holes in the disposable coasters you get at local breweries and pubs then tied to the tree with ribbon.

Hanging Beer Coasters

For the ribbon, attach beer caps to the wired ribbon by hot-gluing the edges of the cap to the ribbon. Let completely dry before placing a ribbon on the tree.

Oh and what would a beer-themed Christmas tree be without something at the top. You can see that there is a beer tap handle on the top of the tree. What a fun way to incorporate the beer theme. By the way, today is National Lager Day!

Does your tree have a theme? If you were to make a themed tree, what theme would it be?

That tree is pretty cute! I'd love to have a den to put a beer-themed tree in! Our tree doesn't have a theme; my girls just love decorating it with all our familiar ornaments we use every year. 🙂

That's what we usually do. I might need a second tree for a theme. 🙂

Ok, this is awesome! Ours totally has a theme, per my husband, of being a Doctor Who tree. He lit it with the same kind of blue that is prevalent in the show, and put the little time machine as ornaments throughout the tree. He even used the time machine as a tree topper, instead of using a star or angel!

I love it Tamara! I have some friends that are huge Dr. Who fans and love the topper idea!

This is such a perfect man cave tree! My tree is a boring, traditional Christmas tree decorated in green, red, and gold. BLAH. I love the idea of themed trees!

We don't do a themed tree but I love the idea of a beer tree for my husband. My sister does a small tree of homemade Christmas ornaments that my nieces have made over the years. I think its a great way to showcase their ornaments without it taking over the main tree.

It's my goal to eventually have a wine themed christmas tree.. however, I'm just starting to collect ornaments this year so i have a ways to go =) but this is VERY inspiring...
