30th Annual Hoag Summer Classic is nearly here
You may remember I went the the Hoag Summer Classic a couple of years ago. Next week, the Hoag Hospital Foundation and the 552 Club are collaborating with more than 40 of the finest restaurants in Orange County to host an evening of fantastic food, friends and fun. This year's film is Midsummer Night's Dream, and like all of the other benefits, there will be no shortage of fantastic memories.
This year is special as the Hoag Summer Classic is celebrating its 30th year. More than 40 of Orange County’s finest restaurants, live music and thousands of Hoag donors and friends will come together to celebrate in Newport Beach.
Wednesday, June 28, 2017, 5:00 p.m.
Newport Dunes, 1131 Back Bay Drive in Newport Beach.
From the Organizers
Thanks to Hoag’s generous donors, restaurants and volunteers, the Hoag Summer Classic has raised more than $2 million dollars and introduced many new friends to Hoag. Themed “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” this year’s Hoag Summer Classic is co-chaired by Megan and Jonathan Acosta and Caroline and Andre Vovan, M.D. “We are very excited to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Hoag’s 552 Club’s signature summer event and we look forward to making this the best one yet,” said Dr. Andre Vovan.
“For 30 years, our community has come together to enjoy this event that serves for many as the introduction to a life-long partnership with Hoag,” said Flynn A. Andrizzi, Ph.D., president of Hoag Hospital Foundation. “Community support is what allows Hoag to keep its promise of delivering the very best care now and well into the future.”
