Today I am answering a few questions from Julie from The Path to An Organized Tomorrow today.  Here goes:

Why do you blog?

I blog because I want to help other moms save time while still meeting goals . I have been in the productivity field and have found ways to streamline tasks and this is my outlet share ideas and experiences.   I have applied these techniques to work, family and home life over the years.

Does the scope of subject matter and target audience of your blog today match what you envisioned when you started?

I think when I started I expected to have a target audience of moms, but really a lot of women and men want to maximize their time.

What was your favorite book as a child?

The Pokey Little Puppy. I think I admired his perseverance and determination.

What is your favorite season?

That would be summer. I love the warm evenings and I also get to wear dresses on the summer, which I love.

Is form or function more important to you?

Since I am a type A personality, I would have to say function is probably a little more my style. However, I appreciate creativity and design.  I am inspired by many blogs that promote this.

If you could have one day to do anything, what would it be?

I would spend it at the beach, and watch the sun set with my husband.

If you use a smartphone, what app can you not live without?

My photo app.  Seriously, how did I not photograph so many of life’s little moments before?

What is your favorite board game?

Scrabble, but I really love playing card games more than board games.

Would you rather have a maid, a personal chef, or a gardener?

I think I would say a maid, because I like to cook, but a personal chef does sound kind of cool.  Sometimes I just want to eat without cooking.

What is the most organized room in your house?

The family room upstairs.  My kids are out of the house now, so it stays really clean.

What qualities of you do you see in your children?

My son is very analytical and my daughter is super organized.  My daughter is more creative than I am and my college son is a better technical writer than I am.
