Summer Happiness

This is a sponsored post with Bloomsy Box. All opinions are my own.

Don't just make a summer bucket list, make a memorable summer bucket list!If you have been around here a while you know that I favor making the most of the moments and your time. Now that June has come and gone, I want to savor the remaining summer days, and while I can’t always be outside, I am able to capture the beauty of the season. Here are five things that I have done to bring summer happiness into my home and heart, that you can do too!

Use Decorative Glassware

I bought a new mug with a lovely floral pattern that just shouts summer to me. I picked it up in Hawaii last weekend and looking at it makes me think of the beautiful tropical island and brightens my day. It just shouts summer and I plan on using it in future seasons when summer is long gone.

Plant an Herb Garden

I love using fresh basil and herbs this time of year and what better way to have them available than with an indoor herb garden? I keep them near the kitchen so that I can easily pull from them when cooking. Fresh herbs make all the difference in recipes.

Take Time To Journal

I love to take notes in my bullet journal and just record my thoughts. I especially find this helpful if you are on a summer trip and want to remember the sounds, the smells, places, and scenes. Reading these entries later take me back in an instant and make me smile.

Eat More Ice Cream

Seriously, enjoying some frozen treats is a great way to celebrate the season. My favorite flavors right now are strawberry, peach, and mango, and I am not just partial to ice cream. Frozen yogurt, popsicles, slushies and frozen pies are all wonderful ways to savor summer.

This easy peach ice cream recipe is not only simple to make, but it is no churn so it is ready in just a couple of hours!

Enjoy Summer Flowers

What better way to enjoy summer than with some beautiful summer flowers? I recently had the opportunity to check out the Bloomsy Box delivery service. I love fresh flowers and wanted to see what Bloomsy Box was about and I want to share my experience.

The flowers arrived carefully packed in a box and were in great condition when I opened the package. Included in the box is an information card that tells you a bit about the flowers.

The flowers I received were beautiful Purple Dendrobium Orchids. Looking at these beautiful flowers instantly brighten up my mood. Talk about instant happiness!

They were absolutely stunning! The bouquets arrive in bud form, so they don’t begin blooming until they arrive & they last longer. I like that!

Looking at these beautiful flowers instantly brighten up my mood, no matter what I am dealing with. I have bought flowers from the market before, but those only last a couple of days. These still look great after over a week.

It is such a nice way to enjoy the seasons as flowers are hand-picked and delivered to your door weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Each month, the flower company features a different bouquet and there are different plans to choose from, all with a 100% guarantee. When I see them, it is a reminder to slow down and enjoy the beauty that is around at the moment.

Check out Bloomsy Box, and follow them on social media to receive special offers and flower inspiration. Their farm to table flowers are truly extraordinary!

Do you know someone who could use a little summer happiness? By the way, all of these items make great gift ideas for someone special. How do you keep summer happiness in your home and heart?

  1. I love taking time to journal! It really helps me clear my head 🙂

  2. mm… flowers are amazing!
I agree with frozen treats. Some are healthier than others for sure. I do like that even the worst – ice cream – still has protein! That counts for something! (I tell myself)
