Cranberry Chip Pecan Cookies

On some weekends when we have what seems like a million things going on, I will bake with a prepared sugar cookie mix to save some time.  The other day it we were so busy that I really wanted to bake something, but did not want to make a huge mess in the kitchen. Nor did I have a lot of time to bake from scratch. So I looked at what I had iin my pantry and decided to use some of the ingredients I already had.  I made these Cranberry Chip Pecan Cookies using the following ingredients:

These taste amazing even though they start with a mix and I love how quicky I can put them together. It seriously does not get any easier than this. The combination of the flavors is so tasty and satisfying too.

Cranberry Chip Pecan Cookies

1 bag prepared sugar cookie mix

1 stick butter, softened

1 egg

1/2 C white chocolate chips

1/2 C dried cranberries

1/3 c chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and mix the cookie mix and butter and egg together in a bowl.  When combined well, add the chips, cranberries and pecans.

Bake for 9-11 minutes, until golden brown.  Cool on rack.

Easy peasy! No one will know you started with a mix and will love the flavors!
