I am sharing some fun bridal shower party ideas today. You may remember I shared some fun inexpensive bridal shower mason jars earlier this month. Now we are getting to the bridal shower activities.
Be sure to check out our Bridal Shower Food ideas too.
When we held my daughter’s wedding shower, we wanted to include a few fun activities for the guests. These activities were great for guests to get to know one another and were actually fun, without being boring. These are also very inexpensive to do, but just take a little planning.
My daughter's maid of honor was great at picking some fun things to do, without being too corny. I have also included some free wedding shower printables to save you time because you all know how I feel about time!
Bridal Shower Party Ideas - Activities
Bridal Advice Jenga
Here we set up a (aff.) Jenga station with permanent markers so that guests could include a bit of advice or an inspirational message for the bride and groom.
Wed Libs
Think of it as Mad Libs for weddings. Make a fun little story and have people fill in the blanks with verbs, adjectives and nouns. We made up a fun little boy meets girl story, but you can make up any kind to fit the theme of the wedding. The bride and groom will enjoy reading these and can keep the fun memories years later.
Who Said What?
- Someone on the bridal shower team interviews the bride and groom with questions such as “
- At the shower, someone reads the questions and responses and people have to indicate whether the bride said it or the groom said it.
- We made cute signs from popsicle sticks out of construction paper. We made lips for girls and ‘staches for the guys.
Find the Groom
In this bridal shower game, participants look under their chairs to find the groom’s photo. Put photos of celebrities or random people under the chair. Makes for a fun, quick activity. You can see Leonardo up above, as he was one of the photos under the chairs.
While he was not the groom, the guests had a lot of fun checking out all the photos. You can put some photos of non-celebrities too, as some of the bridal shower guests may not know what the groom looks like.
Bridal Bingo
There is just something about Bingo that makes people happy. In this bingo game, people can guess ahead of time what gifts will be given and win a prize. Grab the bridal shower printable.
What's In Your Purse
In this game, this wedding shower printable can be distributed and people complete the form. The person with the most items wins a little gift. Grab the What is in your purse printable.
Famous Couples
This is a fun game where couples need to be matched up. Some of the answers are a little tricky. Grab the free famous couples game printable.
Bridal Shower Matching Game
Pick a five letter word like BRIDE, PARTY or GROOM and have guests complete the items that start with that letter. The person with the most points wins. Time limit is 5 minutes which goes by pretty quick. Grab the free bridal shower game printable.
This is a day that is so memorable for the bride and many others so remember to have someone take lots of photos.
We gave some cookie bags as a small gesture to say thank you to all of the guests.

Tamara
The Jenga is so special! I still use the advice people gave us for my bridal shower.
So special here. I haven't gone to a bridal shower in ages. I loved helping to plan them, but now we're in baby shower mode for awhile, which I like!
