I was working on some Easter craft ideas this weekend and made these fun and inexpensive Easter gift tags. I like to give little gifts to friends and family and these fit right into the budget. These are super simple and inexpensive because I started with these paint chips.
I cut them (freehand) into egg shapes and then added a little washi tape for added design. Then I punched a hole with the hole punch and tied it with ribbon.
Then I wrote an Easter message. I used permanent markers and just added a circle on each letter to make it a little more decorative.
Then I attached them to a little gift. These tags go great with inexpensive gifts that are perfect for a friend, relative or neighbor.
I have a couple of suggestions for inexpensive Easter gifts. These flowers were $1 at Kroger this week. So this gift cost me less than a coffee. (I had the basket already, but there are some cute baskets and pails at the dollar store)
Here is another use of the tags. It still looks decorative even without the washi tape. These are dollar store flowers in a dollar store vase.
You can use decorative scissors to cut the eggs. You might recognize the tape in the pink egg from this post.
You could also make a really cute little Easter banner using these. I used pastel colors, but they would also look good using bold colors. Another idea is to make a fun Easter game by using 20-30 cards and making a concentration match up game with them for the kids. You can easily get a template for an oval from a photo-editing or even a cookie cutter if you want it to be exact.
