How are you all doing today? I want to wish you all a very Happy Valentine’s Day ! I made you all some muffins and I have tea and coffee too. Does that sound like fun?
I hope you all enjoy the day with whomever you are celebrating. These muffins are more like a dessert, because they are sweet. You could even frost them and they would be a cupcake.
Cherry Chocolate Chip Muffins
2 cups baking mix
3/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup milk
1 egg
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
2/3 cup cherries, sliced (I used canned)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line muffin tin with paper cups or grease tin. Mix ingredients in a bowl. Once combined, pour into lined muffin tin. Bake 14-16 minutes.

I was just going to say what Ginny Marie said: chocolate and cherries are one of my favourite combinations. These look delicious!
I make a version of this but I use a banana nut muffin base and add
maraschino cherries and the chocolate chips. I call them my Banana Split Muffins
and they have been a family favorite for about 10 years.
