How is your holiday season going so far? I am enjoying the gatherings that allow me to connect with friends and family at this time of year. I hope that you are enjoying your celebrations. I want to share with you an oldie but a goodie recipe that is great for a lunch, party or shower.
This dip is an old favorite. It is made with Beau Monde, which is a seasoning salt that I have used for years. If you have never used Beau Monde, I encourage you to try it. This dip is great with chips and vegetables.
I think you will like it. I do not even know the actual name of this dip, so I call it Beau Monde dip. Here is the recipe:
1 cup mayonaisse
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon Beau Monde
1 tablespoon dill weed
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1 tablespoon onion flakes
Combine in a bowl. Chill until ready to serve. Serve with chips or fresh vegetables.
It is also good on bread.

Never heard of this beau monde either! Can I get it at any supermarket here in SoCal? My favorite dip is the dill one my dad always makes, I’m not sure what’s in it except dill and deliciousness!

Okay, I am not a good cook at all, but this looks like something I could actually do and be able to say “I brought something homemade!” SCORE!! I don’t know what Beau Monde tastes like, but if it goes with chips and veggies, I’m in!

Never heard of Beau Monde! Excited to try something new. Thanks for posting.
My mom has been making this for years. I have never seen a recipe for it or heard of anyone else making it until I saw this. The only difference is she uses real diced onion. We always eat it with cucumbers. It is yummy!!
